Families and individuals who join the CSA Program receive a share of naturally grown produce from our Peculiar, MO farm every week during the growing season. The 2012 season begins on May 13th and continues through October 27th.
Our Produce Program share choices are:
- Full share - 7 to 9 produce items, enough for a family of four for the week (3/4 bushel) who cook at home frequently, or;
- Partial share - 5 to 7 produce items per week, enough for a couple or family with very small children (1/2 bushel) or a family who cooks only a few times per week, or;
- Single share - 4 to 6 produce items per week, in smaller quantity than a partial share, suitable for a single individual.
Shares will be lighter in the spring and consist of more greens and root veggies. As the season progresses, the share will increase in volume and variety, then taper back to leafy greens and root veggies in late fall.
All produce is pesticide free and herbicide free.
You will also have access to a database of storage recommendations, history of each item we grow and recipes for each of the items in your share.
